Thanksgiving

My sister-in-law, Melanie, made letter cookies for the kids to decorate before we ate.

The kids really enjoyed decorating their cookies with icing and sprinkles.

But, I think they enjoyed eating them more!

Playing outside after the feast.

The men's version of "watching the kids"--notice Grandpa and uncle Benjamin in the background :)

Thanksgiving this year was spent with the in-laws. We met up at the park around 11:30 to play, and then headed back to my mother and father-in-law's house for food around 1:00 pm. The food was very yummy, and I enjoyed very much that I wasn't in charge of the Turkey this year. Last year, while 9 months pregnant with Parker, I decided to cook my very first Thanksgiving dinner all by myself...I won't be doing that again :)

After dinner the girls (and Grandpa) went to see New Moon. I had already seen it a week earlier (I couldn't wait :) but enjoyed it just as much the second time around. It was a nice, relaxing day and it was made all the better by being with family!

What a great day! Going to the park sounds like a great idea. Way to go on not cooking the turkey while pregnant again. Hope you guys are doing well
