Vermont

Parker enjoying the view from the plane window.

Being cute and good natured, which he was, the ENTIRE trip, whether on the plane or in the car, or hanging out with family.

Sitto and Jiddo (my grandparents) meeting Parker for the first time. They didn't know we were coming, since it was such a last minute trip, and we surprised them! It was wonderful, and they were so happy!
Meeting Grampy Phil for the first time at the hospital. Parker did wonders for my dad, and I was so glad that we were able to be there to help him.

Sitto playing with Parker and Maddison, my niece.

Bobby, my stepfather, Maddison, Ashton, and Jiddo all hanging out outside at the family BBQ we had on one of the last nights we were there.
Jiddo and Ashton, Ashton was taking a break from his almost NON-STOP activity.

My sister-in-law Sara and Parker...It was so wonderful to spend time with her, I love Sara a lot and wish we lived closer!!
The fam just hanging out!

My other mom Kelly (yes, I have two :) "hogging" the baby!

He did this most nights while we were at Bobby and Kelly's house...he took to his Grammy Kelly very well.
Sara, my brother Matt, Me, Kelly and Parker, my uncle Mikey, and Maddison

Justina, my brother Shaun's girlfriend feeding Parker. He just LOVED her!

Parker and my brother Shaun! For all his talk of never having kids, he is SUCH a natural with them. He had Parker laughing the whole time.

Although our trip to VT wasn't recreational, it sure was wonderful to see so much family and be able to be with my dad at the hospital. He will be there a bit longer, but we were able to get a lot accomplished while we were there. We met with his doctors and ran around like crazy back and forth from the court house getting power of attorney over my dad's healthcare and general state of affairs--not something that is fun to do, but at a certain point is necessary. We cleaned his apartment for him so it would be nice and organized when he gets home, we took care of his finances, and many other things that he wasn't able to do by himself. It was a busy week and a stressful week, but a good one, nonetheless. I am so grateful to my in-laws who at the drop of a hat took my kids for eight long days, and my mom Kelly who didn't hesitate to take us in, feed us, wash our clothes, and meet our every need while we were there. We love you all, and are so lucky to have you as our family!

I'm so glad things went well, and it's great to see pictures of your family. Parker looks so beautiful, what a sweetie pie. I'm glad he did so well. We're really looking forward to hanging out on Wednesday. See you soon!

I hope your dad is OK...looks like you had a good trip, though! Why did I not realize your family lived clear in Vermont? We have even more in common...our families are on the other side of the country!
