Build A Bear Birthday

With our house torn apart because of the flood, I decided to have the girls birthday party somewhere other than our home this year. Emma really wanted a bear themed party, so we settled on Build A Bear. It was a lot of fun, all the cousins came, and we were able to have cake and presents in the food court after the party was over.

Homemade popsicles and Olivia turns two

I have been craving Jello pudding pops lately, but unfortunately they don't make them anymore. So, I got on Amazon and found these molds so I could make my own Jello pops at home. We did a test run with Popsicles for the kids. Happy Birthday my darling two year old!! Life wouldn't be quite so sweet without you!!

Memorial Day

For Memorial Day this year we kept it simple and stayed home. I was still feeling pretty sick, so we just broke out the pool, grilled hot dogs, ate watermelon, and homemade ice cream in the back yard. The kids had a blast, and it was nice to just stay in and relax with our little family.

It didn't take long once we were in for Olivia to pass out!

Pre-School Graduation

We have done a few pre-schools over the years. This however, has been the best one! Lesley Howe, who teaches Kokopelli Pre-school is not only a wonderful teacher but a great nurturer. Emma matured so much this year, and a lot of the credit for that goes to Mrs. Lesley. I have known Lesley Howe now for a number of years and just think the world of her and her family. Here Emma is walking to the stage.

Kindergarten Graduation

When you advance to a new grade at Aidan's school there is a graduation ceremony. Here he is walking to the stage.

Aidan had a wonderful year at Mesquite! He learned so much and had such wonderful teachers and classrooms aids. I couldn't have asked for a better start to his education! We love you Aidan and are so proud of you!

Super Aidan

The last week of school for Aidan was fun week. They got to have a water day, movie day, an assembly, and super hero day. They were asked to make a costume turning themselves into a super hero. We made a mask and a logo for his chest. He loved it!
